Sarasota United Promotion!(06/06/09)

Sarasota United have been promoted to the FSSL 1st Division.

Jennifer Weston from the Florida Suncoast Soccer League had this to say:

"Based on your team’s performance during the past season the board is inviting your team to move up to Division 1 for the 2009-10 season.  They believe your team will be an asset to Division"

Manager Mark Bayliss had this to say 

"This is great recognition of the season we have had. The boys have worked hard and deserved more so this is a great opportunity    and one that we are going to try take full advantage of."

7v7 League comes to a close (06/02/09)

Tuesday night saw the final round of the popular 7v7 league. It has been a hard fought season with plenty of action, excitement and controversy. For more details see the 7v7 page

The final standings were:

1st: Yeungling United

2nd: White Rhino

3rd: Sarasota United II
